VooDEW 1.0

VooDEW 1.0 is a Mountain Dew flavor released for the Halloween season 2019 as the first annual release flavor of the VooDEW series in the United States. In Fall 2022, this flavor, alongside 2.0 and 3.0, returned as the Ghosts of VooDEW Past in the online DEW Store for a limited time while supplies last. In Fall 2024, VooDEW 1.0 was released in Canada for a limited time.

Description[]

VooDEW 1.0 is a Mystery Flavor of Mountain Dew and has a white look with a similar theme to Mountain Dew's other Halloween flavors.

Speculation[]

Since this VooDEW flavor is a Mystery Flavor, many people who have tried it have drawn comparisons to a reminiscent of an orange creamsicle, a fruity tang, Starburst, Skittles, rainbow sherbet, or other fruit candies.

Clues[]

First clue[1]: On September 25th, 2019, on Twitter[2], the official Mountain Dew account hinted at the flavor with four clues. First was a cornfield, with VooDEWgrim dashing across it.

Second clue[3]: The second was a house in a foggy forest night with a triangular window with an orange tint.

Third clue[4]: The third was a night street, and when you take a close look to the two green guide signs, it reveals the street names being "Dandy" and "Thorne."

Fourth clue[5]: Lastly, a picture of a crow then seen glitching into the colors of a candy corn with a glitchy fade effect.

Answer[]

On October 30th, 2019, the official Mountain Dew Twitter account unveiled[6] VooDEW's 2019 Mystery Flavor to be Candy Corn.
