Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) was first introduced in August 2007 to promote Halo 3, its Slurpee form was also first introduced at 7-Eleven convenience stores, in 2009, the original Game Fuel flavor returned along with the new companion flavor, Game Fuel (Wild Fruit) to promote World of Warcraft in Summer 2009, in 2011, the original Game Fuel flavor returned along with the new companion flavor, Game Fuel (Tropical) to promote Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, it returned in 2012 without the companion flavor to promote Halo 4, in 2013, the original Game Fuel flavor returned along with the new companion flavor, Game Fuel (Electrifying Berry) to promote Xbox One games, the original flavor returned as a Slurpee flavor in late 2013, in 2014, Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) was surprisingly confirmed to be permanent in stores, in October 2014, it returned with the new companion flavor, Game Fuel (Lemonade) to promote Call of Duty: Advance Warfare, in 2015, Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) promoted the games, Warframe and Batman Arkham Knight and it is now available at Amazon online, in October 2015, it returned along with the new companion flavor, Game Fuel (Berry Lime) to promote Call of Duty: Black Ops III, in 2016, the original flavor returned along with the new companion, Game Fuel (Mango Heat) to promote TitanFall 2, in Early 2017, Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) is available now at select Arby's restaurants, in 2017, Citrus Cherry Game Fuel is absent for the 2017 Game Fuel Promotion.
