Sasquench is an Franchise Exclusive Mountain Dew flavor concept only at Little Caesars restaurants in 16-ounce cans, and its status is currently unknown.
Description
Sasquench was conceptualized as a Raspberry Citrus Punch (Raspberry-Lime-Orange) flavor of Mountain Dew and would have been orange in color, concepted to have a similar punch flavor to that of Overdrive.
Tagline
Its tagline would have been "DEW Charged with Raspberry Citrus Punch."
History
Sasquench was first leaked in a r/MountainDew post on February 8th, 2023, by a user named u/MaybePirateDom. The user had posted an photograph of a 16-ounce can design with a raspberry and an orange beside it with a design backdrop alongside an abbreviated "LC" (Little Caesars) design near the top of the can and also showed the Little Caesars mascot at the down-right which was barely showing. In addition, a limited-time Pepsi Pineapple variant was released from July 3rd to August 5th, only at Little Caesars.
Despite much speculation and rumors online, no release for Sasquench ever came to fruition nor was there ever any indication that the flavor had made it out of the concept stage.
Trivia
- Sasquench could have been the second Franchise Exclusive flavor released only in 16-ounce cans. The first was Dollar General's Maui Burst in its limited time October 2019 release.
- Sasquench's artwork has a similar artstyle and flavor to the Casey's General Stores exclusive, Overdrive.
- The name Sasquench is a play on words, inserting the word "Sasquatch" into "Quench."
