Mountain Dew (Baja Laguna Lemonade) was a canceled Mountain Dew Energy flavor planned to be released for a limited time alongside Baja Point Break Punch and Baja Fiery Mango (a Doritos chip flavor) in the Spring of 2024.
Description[]
Mountain Dew (Baja Laguna Lemonade) would've been based on the same flavor profile as its original counterpart but having 180 Milligrams of Caffeine which equals approximately 2 Cups of Coffee, 5% Juice, Zero (0 G) added Sugar, Zinc, and Vitamins A&C Antioxidants.
History[]
On September 23rd, 2023, it was leaked by Team Supernova that VooDEW 6.0, alongside its Zero Sugar variant, would be releasing in Fall 2024 with a collaboration of a top candy brand. Additionally, Kroger-exclusive Thrashed Apple would be nationally discontinued alongside Major Melon and Spark at the end of 2023, alongside the entirety of the Mountain Dew Energy line in January of 2024 with the then-discovered Mountain Dew Energy (Liberty Brew) and Mountain Dew Energy (Baja Laguna Lemonade) having been canceled.
Trivia[]
- This flavor would've been the fifth regular Dew flavor to receive an energy drink variant, the first being Baja Blast, the second being Code Red, the third being Pitch Black, and the fourth being Major Melon, and the sixth being Liberty Brew.
- Baja Laguna Lemonade is the third Mountain Dew Energy flavor to be canceled. The first is Mountain Dew Energy (Dragonfruit Charge) in Summer 2022 and the second is Liberty Brew in Summer 2024.
