Not to be confused with Merry Mash-Up.
Holiday Brew was a Mountain Dew flavor released for a limited time in the United States during the winter season of 2017.
It was similar in both concept and style of another mixture drink (DEW-S-A, which was also a combination/mixture of existing Mountain Dew flavors) and two holiday Dew flavors (Gingerbread Snap'd and Merry Mash-Up, as all three flavors are inspired by the holiday spirit). Like Code Red and Merry Mash-Up, it was bright red in color.
Holiday Brew got first seen on a YouTube video posted by myCountyMarket on July 28th, 2017, as seen in the background on one of the shelves on one of their product reviews of new snacks and food. A few days later, myCountyMarket posted a review about Holiday Brew alongside another winter drink, Pepsi Salted Caramel, on the video on YouTube. The channel's video revealed that it would be released sometime on November 6th, 2017. By the time, it is unknown when does this 2017 limited-time run last. People would assume that it would get discontinued after the winter season because this release was new at the time.
Officially, it was released to stores in the United States on November 6th, 2017 for a limited time. The flavor was sold in 20-ounce bottles and 12-packs of 12 oz. cans. The flavor stayed on shelves until the end of the year when it was discontinued. The following three winter seasons, it was replaced by Merry Mash-Up, which was itself replaced by Gingerbread Snap'd in the winter season of 2021.
- This flavor is the second flavor blend of existing Mountain Dew flavors using Code Red and Dew. The first one was DEW-S-A, which was a blend of Code Red, White Out, and Voltage (with the colors of each flavor representing the colors of the United States flag).
- Holiday Brew was featured on the YouTube channel myCountyMarket along with several other pre-release flavors of Mountain Dew.
