Hard Baja Blast

Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast is a flavored malt beverage inspired by the classic Baja Blast, first released on February 22nd, 2022 for the Hard Mountain Dew line. It is currently available in 28 states and one city.

Description[]

Hard Baja Blast is a Baja Blast inspired flavor in the alcoholic Hard Mountain Dew. Containing 5% alcohol, it is a non-caffeinated Malt beverage with Natural Flavors, Artificial Sweeteners (Sucralose & Acesulfame Potassium), Certified Color, Zero (0 G) added Sugar, and FD&C Yellow #5.

It is currently available in stores that sell beer individually in 24 oz. cans, as well as smaller 12 oz. cans in a variety pack alongside Hard Mountain Dew, LiveWire, and Watermelon. It can also be found regionally in 12 packs. For a limited time, it is currently also available in a Baja Blast themed variety pack, which also contains Hard Baja Blast Pineapple, Baja Blast Punch, and Baja Blast Mango.

History[]

Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast was trademarked on September 27th, 2021, and later that year, images of the drink were leaked online. Additionally, it was officially announced on January 28th, 2022, after they announced the rest of the Hard Mountain Dew lineup the previous August, ready for the initial release for February of 2022.

Alongside Hard Mountain Dew, Black Cherry, and Watermelon, it was released to stores on February 22nd, 2022 in three states (namely Florida, Tennessee, and Iowa). Since then, it has slowly been rolling out to more states as time goes on.
