Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade)

Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade) was a Mountain Dew Game Fuel Zero Sugar flavor released in January 2020 alongside Game Fuel Zero (Charged Watermelon Shock), joining the five primary Amp Game Fuel flavors.

Description[]

Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade) was a Raspberry Lemonade flavor of Mountain Dew Zero Sugar and had a reddish-peach look. It had a comparable tasting flavor to that of Spiked (Raspberry Lemonade).

It was a low-sugar energy drink having 90 Milligrams of Caffeine, Fruit Juice, 0% (0 G) added Sugar, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, and Vitamins A&B6, similar to the Energy line.

History[]

Main article: Game Fuel Promotion

On September 11th, 2019, Game Fuel Zero (Charged Watermelon Shock) and Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade) was first leaked by a PepsiCo Employee on the Dew Drinker Discord. Following the initial leak, no official release date was specified, although it was known that it would be released in 2020.

A week later, on September 19th, 2019, YouTube channel myCountyMarket posted a new product review about the Amp Game Fuel Zero line in their video on YouTube. The channel's video revealed that it would be released sometime in early 2020 in retail stores. The channel's video also unfolded that the Amp Game Fuel Zero line (at the time) didn't promote a specific game release.

Game Fuel Zero (Charged Watermelon Shock) and Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade) was officially released to stores in the United States in January 2020, as a permanent flavor, joining the five primary Amp Game Fuel flavors, and is available in 16-ounce resealable grip cans.

2021 rebranding and store discontinuation[]

In early 2021, a new Mountain Dew energy drink line called Mountain Dew Energy (at the time called RISE Energy) was released and replaced the Amp Game Fuel line in retail stores. Months prior to late 2020, the Amp branding was dropped from the Game Fuel brand, making the rebranded Game Fuel brand an online exclusive.

Late 2021 online discontinuation[]

In December 2021, emails sent out to customers by GameFuel.com confirmed that both Game Fuel Zero flavors were discontinued and would no longer be restocked as a result.

2022 online Re-release[]

On September 19th, 2022, Game Fuel Zero (Charged Raspberry Lemonade) was listed to be back in stock at the Game Fuel store, but this release didn't last as long as it did with Game Fuel Zero (Charged Watermelon Shock).

2023 online discontinuation[]

In early 2023, online stores that had the Game Fuel line were out of stock for a long while, and there was speculation it was discontinued, but it wasn't confirmed until the official Mountain Dew website was overhauled, removing all references to or ability to purchase Game Fuel online, rendering it fully discontinued.
