History[]
- Main article: Game Fuel Promotion
In July 2013, a few Dew Drinkers were given a opportunity to test this flavor, which was at the moment labeled as "Game Fuel Goji Strawberry."
By August 2013, final label designs for this flavor and Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) had been created, as images of bottles of both were posted on the app Instagram, and bottles were given out to DEW fans at PAX Prime 2013. Both flavors promoted different games, with Electrifying Berry promoting "Ryse: Son of Rome" as well as "Kinect Sports Rivals."
In October 2013, both Game Fuel flavors released to stores and featured codes under their caps that gave people a chance to win free Xbox Ones. The promotion lasted until the end of the year, and the flavors were accordingly discontinued.
Trivia[]
