Flavor #286 was described as a Pineapple flavored Mountain Dew and was yellow in color, most likely similar to that of Maui Burst or Baja Gold.

This flavor, along with flavors #231, #493, #509, #648, #722, and #736, was shipped to Dew Labs members who were chosen based on their video submissions to the now defunct video website 12seconds.tv and were shipped boxes of the seven prototype flavors. From the initial seven flavors, taste testers were questioned to elect three final flavors for later release at retail stores. #286 eventually lost and as a result was not released to stores.
