Dewnited States was an exclusive promotion to the United States, involving Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Zero Sugar, White Out (Froster Freeze in Circle K), and the limited-edition flavor of Mountain Dew: Liberty Brew. This promotion featured a collection of 50 state-specific designs of Mountain Dew alongside its diet and zero sugar variations.

History[]

2019[]

The existence of the Dewnited States promotion was first leaked by images of Liberty Brew from a Instagram post by MtnDewKid, featuring its 20 oz. Sidekick bottle and its 12 oz. can design in early 2019. Throughout early 2019, some certain state-specific designs of Mountain Dew were leaked online.

It officially began from June 3rd, 2019 and lasted until August 10th, 2019. The promotional involved an effort to collect 50 unique state-themed Mountain Dew labels in exchange for a $100 prepaid gift card.

2020[]

Fast forward to 2020, it seems that the Dewnited States promotion did so well that they decided to bring back this promotion a second time in Summer 2020. They also made it where every bottle uploaded grants the participant one entry into a one million dollar grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing will take place on July 15th, 2020. 20 oz. and 24 oz. bottles of Mountain Dew Zero Sugar was also given Dewnited labels.

It began on May 18th, 2020, and until July 11th, 2020. A new trading mechanic was also added on June 23th, 2020, which is referred to as the "Trade Post". In order to trade the participant has to have a duplicate state, they then can select the state they don't have and trade it in for that state. Everything is done digitally so no mailing is required. Participants can only trade 5 times for each account.
