Every60Seconds was a promotion by Mountain Dew and Microsoft for their new Xbox One X system. It was similar to 2005's Every10Minutes and 2013's Every2Minutes.
Launch[]
The promotion began on September 25th, 2017, where all of the current Mountain Dew flavors received a design change for their labels to coincide with the Every60Seconds promotion, in addition to the release of two Game Fuel flavors: Game Fuel Arctic Burst and Game Fuel Game Fuel (Tropical Smash). Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) was planned for this promotion, but unlike previous promotions, was scrapped. As a result, the flavor instead continued to be sold with its non-game-specific design.
Ending[]
The Every60Seconds promotion concluded on January 3rd, 2018, and as a result, both Game Fuel flavors were discontinued.
Trivia[]
- This promotion was the last original Game Fuel promotion before being rebranded to Amp Game Fuel.
- A YouTube video explains the promotion in detail, buying the participating Mountain Dew and Doritos products from stores, and shows how it works with the bidding for a chance to win an Xbox One X and its aftermath.
- This video also points out that some Doritos bags have two codes printed inside the bag.
