Doritos Quest was a campaign held in 2008 when Doritos debuted a mystery flavor called "Quest." The flavor was later identified as Original Mountain Dew.

The Doritos Quest tortilla chips were sweeter than salty. They were said to taste like girl scout cookies, and on other occasions, Mountain Dew.
History[]
The promotion started in 2008, when Doritos made a mystery flavor known as "Quest" and made a site for it featuring online puzzles and games to identify the mystery flavor. At the end of the promotion, the flavor was identified as Original Mountain Dew.

- A similar product, Doritos Mountain Dew, was released in Australia for a limited time in 2020.
- Additionally, the U.S. Lay's Twitter account asked people on April Fools day of 2023 to "raise their hand" if they wanted to try Mountain Dew flavored Lay's.
- Also, a Doritos Baja Fiery Mango chip flavor was released alongside two Baja flavors, Baja Laguna Lemonade and Baja Point Break Punch, in the Spring of 2024.
