Dirty Mountain Dew is the same as the Original Mountain Dew, but with added Cream Soda flavoring. It is a lemon chiffon color, veering away from artificial dyes.

On August 19th, 2025[1], Sodaseekers leaked Dirty Dew on Instagram, sharing a low-resolution photo of its 20-ounce prototype bottle design. They announced a Spring 2026 release window but did not confirm whether the flavor will be limited or permanent.
On September 27th, 2025[2], Team Supernova announced a new, modern design. The flavor will become a permanent offering in 2026, available in 20-ounce bottles and 12-pack cans, in both Full-Sugar and Zero-Sugar varieties.
At the end of September 2025, the Mountain Dew marketing team decided to promote Dirty Mountain Dew through a series of various social media posts, including one that revealed "Coming 2026."[3]
In October 2025, it was announced that both Baja Cabo Citrus and Dirty Mountain Dew were at the 2025 NACS show to taste test and will be free of artificial dyes, reflecting consumer demand for natural ingredients and health considerations.[4]
