Berry Twister was a Franchise Exclusive Mountain Dew flavor available from 2020 to 2022 and again in 2024 only at Canadian Circle K gas stations.
Description[]
Berry Twister was a Strawberry Melon flavor of Mountain Dew, similar to the American Supernova, and was red-pink in color.
History[]
In 2020, PepsiCo launched Berry Twister in Canada as a Circle K exclusive. In 2021, Mountain Dew Canada's official Instagram account stated in a message that Berry Twister is no longer being distributed, and is being replaced with Code Red (which was discontinued in Canada two years prior due to low sales).
In 2022, Berry Twister was found in Vancouver, BC and Edmonton & Whitecourt, Alberta, only in Froster form. It was also found in Vancouver, BC in fountain form.
Shortly thereafter, it was announced that Berry Twister was no longer being produced.
In 2024, after about 2 years of it being gone, posters and signs around Canada Circle K’s in late March started showing Berry Twister's return in both fountain and slushy form. It was later confirmed by members of the Dew Drinkers Discord that the flavor was in fact back in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta.
Trivia[]
- Berry Twister is the first Mountain Dew flavor created and sold in Canada that was not a preexisting flavor from another country, the second being HoneyDEW due to it being canceled in the U.S.
