Baja Laguna Lemonade

Baja Laguna Lemonade was a Mountain Dew flavor released for a limited time in March 2024 as part of the 20th Bajaversary promotion, alongside Baja Point Break Punch and Baja Fiery Mango, a Doritos flavor. The following year, it returned for a limited time in 473 mL (16 oz.) cans, available exclusively at Circle K and Couche Tard gas stations in Canada, with Baja Point Break Punch rebranded as Baja Reef Break Punch.

Baja Laguna Lemonade was a Mango Lemonade flavor of Mountain Dew. It was yellow in color.

History[]

On September 8th, 2023[1], a user leaked Baja Laguna Lemonade on Reddit, sharing an image of a 20-ounce bottle design. The post also referenced the 2023 NACS Show website[2], which listed several upcoming PepsiCo and affiliated products.

On September 22nd, 2023, it was leaked on the Dew Drinker Discord detailing information on PepsiCo's plans and release schedule for 2024 of the majority of flavors. The detailed leak here is as follows: The Summer re-release of Liberty Brew alongside two new flavors, Star Spangled and Freedom Frenzy (later renamed Star Spangled Splash and Freedom Fusion, respectively), Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) alongside Game Fuel (Midnight Mission) (the latter later renamed Game Fuel (Citrus Blackberry)) in November, and two Baja flavors: Baja Laguna Lemonade and Baja Point Break Punch in Spring with a Doritos chip flavor, Baja Fiery Mango[3].

On October 7th, 2023[4], Team Supernova[5] received better quality photos of Baja Paradise Punch (renamed Baja Point Break Punch) and Baja Laguna Lemonade, taken from the 2023 NACS Show event.

It was officially released in stores in March 2024, alongside Baja Point Break Punch, throughout the United States for a limited time in 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles alongside Baja Point Break Punch until June 2024.

Canada[]

On September 25th, 2024[6], Team Supernova announced that Baja Laguna Lemonade, along with Baja Point Break Punch (rebranded as Baja Reef Break Punch), would be released in Canada, available exclusively at Circle K and Couche Tard gas stations for a limited time in Summer 2025.

On May 26th, 2025, a photograph was posted[7] by Instagram account @junkfoodjunction, showing both and Baja Laguna Lemonade in 473mL (16 oz.) cans.

On June 24th, 2025, Mountain Dew Canada announced[8] that both Baja Laguna Lemonade and Baja Reef Break Punch are available exclusively for Circle K/Couche Tard gas stations.

Mountain Dew Energy (Baja Laguna Lemonade)[]

On September 23rd, 2023[9], it was leaked by Team Supernova that VooDEW 6.0 (United States), alongside its Zero Sugar variant, would be releasing in Fall 2024 with a collaboration of a top candy brand. Additionally, Kroger-exclusive Thrashed Apple would be nationally discontinued alongside Major Melon, Spark at the end of 2023, alongside the Mountain Dew Energy line in January 2024 with then-discovered Mountain Dew Energy (Liberty Brew) and Mountain Dew Energy (Baja Laguna Lemonade).

Trivia[]

  • This is the second Baja Spinoff to be a Mango-centric flavor, the first being Baja Mango Gem.
  • Baja Laguna Lemonade, alongside Baja Point Break Punch, is one of the many Baja Family flavors to be released for a limited time.
  • In the pre-release designs of the two Spring 2024 Baja flavors, there were some minor tagline flavor descriptions that would later be changed, namely Baja Laguna Lemonade's Lemon (later changed to to Mango Lemonade) and Baja Point Break Punch's Fruit Punch (later changed to Tropical Punch).
  • Unlike all previous Baja flavors, it and Baja Point Break Punch were released in March of 2024, giving Liberty Chill, Star Spangled Splash and Freedom Fusion the June-August slot.
