Adrenaline powered by Mountain Dew was a Mountain Dew variant released in some European countries such as Poland, Romania, and Norway in 2010 as an attempt to create an energy drink in cooperation with energy drink brand Adrenaline Rush. The Mountain Dew AMP energy drink variant from the United Kingdom was somewhat similar to this product.
Description[]
Adrenaline powered by Mountain Dew was an energy drink variant of Mountain Dew which was yellow-green in color, similar to the European Energy/Citrus Blast. The flavor was described as having a fruity or bubblegum-like taste. One American visitor to Poland described it as tasting like watermelon Smarties.
While little information is known about this energy drink variant, this drink contains caffeine, taurine, guarana extract, ginseng, and vitamins B2 and B12 listed in the ingredients.
It was available in sizes such as 250 mL cans, 500 mL cans, and 850 mL black-tinted bottles (similar to Mountain Dew Energy's green-tinted bottles).
History[]
Adrenaline powered by Mountain Dew was first released in 2010 in Poland, Romania, and Norway and was intended as a permanent energy drink variant. It was later discontinued in all countries due to spinning off into its own line of drinks in 2015.
