The concept for the 20th Bajaversary promotion included the permanent release of Baja Blast and its Baja Blast Zero Sugar, alongside two new limited-time flavors Laguna Lemonade and Point Break Punch with the addition of Doritos Baja Fiery Mango chips releasing later in late March. These newly released Baja flavors received an updated design change for their labels to coincide with the sweepstakes promotion.
How It Works[]
Based on other Baja-themed summer promotions, though different, the previous promotions used to feature generated codes from under the bottle cap. This period is when you scan the QR code from the bottle (or in store from Taco Bell of your fountain drink), it takes you to the official website. After that, it will register to the website for you to collect coins for a chance to win Baja-themed gear.

Ending[]
After it ended on June 15th, 2024, Baja Blast and its Zero Sugar variant remained on store shelves while the 20th Bajaversary branding remained to be used on Baja Blast's actual birthday on July 29th, 2024[1].

- This Baja-themed promotion was the fourth promotion to have Baja-themed prizes to win. The first was 2014's Baja or Bust promotion, the second was 2021's 100 Days of Baja, and the third was 2022's The Lost Treasures of Baja Island.
- There was a Baja Blast "Dye Hard" shirt that you were able to buy[2] that contradicts the permanent release of Baja Blast in its 20th Bajaversary. The shirt reads: "MAKE MTN DEW BAJA BLAST AVAILABLE IN STORES ALL THE TIME." It was introduced in 2018 and was taken off sale in 2024.
